Anyone aged between 16 and 69 who has an NHS Dentist and pays for their treatment.
100% of your dental bill, according to the 3 bands of charges for all NHS dental treatments and up to a generous annual maximum. There are many other dental benefits included. Please refer to the premium and benefits table below.
Claiming is easy. Submit a short claim form with a valid receipt, either online via the claims portal or by post and receive your money back in a few days.
You choose. We can either send you a cheque or arrange a bank transfer.
We aim to settle all claims as quickly as possible, usually within 2–3 working days.
NHS charges can become expensive. A routine check-up that results in a crown would be £306.80. A filling 6 months later would be £70.70 or a second crown would be another £306.80. With the Smile Assured NHS Dental Plan, you get up to £500 per year to cover these costs. (NHS charges correct, April 2023).
Unfortunately, we’re unable to cover these situations. We only cover new dental conditions that occur after joining.
Yes. You will need to see a dentist and get any recommended treatments completed at your own expense, initially. Claims for future visits and treatments will then be covered by your plan.

You can stay on the plan and continue to benefit from it for as long as you wish.
